Scope of Services
Custodes Ltd provides consultancy, advisory, design, integration and project management services relating to physical and electronic security systems.

Quotations & Commercial Terms
Custodes Ltd provides quotations or estimates before undertaking chargeable work.
Where a client elects to proceed, project-specific commercial terms, payment schedules and deliverables will be agreed in writing.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Invoices are payable within the stated payment period
- Custodes Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at 5% above the Bank of England base rate after 30 days overdue
- Debts outstanding beyond 60 days may be referred to external recovery agents or legal representatives
Third-Party Contractors & Installers
Custodes Ltd may recommend, coordinate or work alongside trusted third-party contractors, installers and specialist providers.
Where third-party providers are engaged, Custodes Ltd will use reasonable care in selecting reputable and appropriately insured parties.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, third-party providers remain independently responsible for their own services, workmanship, certifications, warranties and compliance obligations.
Where Custodes Ltd directly manages or integrates works, responsibility shall be limited to the agreed project scope and contractual obligations.
Reports, Recommendations & Professional Advice
All reports, assessments, recommendations and specifications produced by Custodes Ltd are based on information reasonably available at the time of assessment.
Security consultancy inherently involves risk reduction rather than risk elimination. Accordingly:
- Recommendations are intended to reduce identified risks
- No system, design or recommendation can guarantee prevention of criminal activity, loss, intrusion, cyber compromise or security incidents
- Clients remain responsible for operational decisions and implementation of recommendations
Custodes Ltd accepts no liability for events arising outside the agreed scope of work or from recommendations not implemented as advised.
Intellectual Property
All reports, specifications, methodologies, layouts, formats, written materials and associated intellectual property produced by Custodes Ltd remain the intellectual property of Custodes Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Upon full payment, clients are granted a non-transferable licence to use delivered materials solely for their intended project or operational purpose.
Clients may not:
- Republish reports or materials publicly
- Modify or alter documentation
- Reproduce materials for unrelated projects
- Distribute documents to third parties beyond those reasonably required for implementation without prior written consent
Confidentiality & Discretion
Custodes Ltd recognises the sensitive nature of security-related information and client confidentiality.
Subject to applicable law, Custodes Ltd will treat client information, security details, reports, system designs and operational information as confidential and will exercise discretion to the fullest extent reasonably permitted under the laws of England & Wales.
Confidential information will not be disclosed except:
- Where required by law
- Where necessary for agreed project delivery
- Where authorised by the client
